Liquid Cooling at Data Centre World, March 12-13, 2025, ExCeL London
The countdown continues until “The Largest Data Centre Event in the World” at ExCeL London opens on the 12th & 13th March 2025. Focusing on enhancing performance in the Hydraflex Liquid Cooling range of products, this years’ show is the launch pad for several innovative product developments that will benefit OEMs and operators alike.
Most challenges have several options available as a solution, each with its own USPs ranging from technological advantages right through to the inevitable cost savings. Each application has its own priorities, but the frequent stumbling block is when price is the driving factor as against improvements offered in performance and the associated benefits. There is always someone offering something cheaper and there usually is a reason behind this.
Back in 2010 Hydraflex were contacted by an OEM to provide a hose for RDHX connections. In response the company developed a hose specifically for this application which offered the LC sector a bespoke solution for the challenges this application raised rather than opt for an off the shelf hose that had been designed for other applications.
Since its launch the Hydraflex (red & blue) Silicone DataCool hoses have benefitted from a continual development programme. With improvements being driven by new technology in the manufacturing process, greater demand initiated by increased performance within the industry and most importantly by regular communication and discussions with users of the hose to understanding what is required from their perspective. During this period the DataCool hose has seen increases in performance, security and longevity which is all of benefit to OEMs and users alike.
Testament to the hose design is the thousands of fully tested assemblies that are fitted to major DCs globally with current demand continuing to grow in an industry that shows no sign of slowing down.
This ethos carries throughout the Hydraflex approach to other areas of their Liquid Cooling products with close consultation with customers identifying specific issues that could have detrimental effects on performance if not addressed.
