DESCRIPTION

Hydraflex’s Oxystop range offers a low oxygen permeable hose that is an ideal choice for heating and ventilation applications such as chilled ceilings. This range is suitable for the conveyance of water in the temperature range of -20°C to +90°C and in systems that include glycol inhibitors or additives. Oxystop assemblies are fully bespoke to specific projects or client requirements and identifiable by the blue fleck in the overbraid. With customisable lengths and fittings including threaded fittings or push fits to ensure hassle free installation.

QUALITY & ASSOCIATED STANDARDS

Compared to EPDM and Thermoplatic hose assemblies the Hydraflex Oxystop assemblies provide excellent resistance to oxygen. Under test conditions the oxygen permeation for the HF Oxystop range was 0.035 g/m², with a DN4726 limit requiring a maximum permeability of 10 g/m² per day. In similar tests EPDM was 150 g/m² whilst Thermoplastic were more than 150 g/m².

Our class O insulation is made from Elastomeric Foam Based on Synthetic Rubber with antimicrobial and fibre-free structure, the material meets high hygienic requirements and is especially suitable for insulation in healthcare facilities like hospitals. Even at low insulation thickness, this proven material protects long-term energy losses, acts as an effective water vapour barrier and so minimizes the risk of corrosion under insulation.

HOSE REDUCTION THROUGH FITTINGS

The arrow on drawing D2 denotes the ‘R’ measurement showing the ‘Minimum Bore Through Fittings (mm)’ which is reduced through the fitting tail, with a tolerance of +/- 0.2mm. The below measurements represent the minimum bore of each DN size; however, fittings will vary in bore size. For further information regarding this please contact out technical department.
