DESCRIPTION

HydraFlex - Unbraided Stainless Steel 321 Annular Corrugated Hose c/w an external yellow cover. They are manufactured to reduce possible vibration and offer a high degree of flexibility allowing for misalignment of pipework. This range of hose assemblies conforms to Section 9.5a of BS 6896 : 1991. The hose is manufactured in accordance with ISO 10380 – 2012. Installations with working pressures less than 0.5 Bar are exempt from the PED. Typical end connections are on one end terminated with a BSP swivel female c/w a BSPP/BSPT Male/Male adaptor other end with a BSPT fixed Hex Male connection. (End connections in Carbon Steel) - however other variation are available on request.

QUALITY & ASSOCIATED STANDARDS

All Hydraflex Metal Hoses are produced by fully penetrated TIG welding method acc. To Hydraflex’s approved WPSs. Each and every Metallic Hose 100% tested and is exposed to hydrostatic pressure test @1.5 times of the design pressure. PED 2014/68/EU approval and material certificates acc. to EN 10204 is available for all sizes
- Unbraided Gas Connector Assemblies are used for the final connection to Gas Fired Radiant and Warm Air Heaters.

PRESSURE DROP

The Pressure loss in corrugated hose is 100% higher than in new welded steel pipes. This means that in the case of corrugated hose an increase in diameter of approximately 15% is required to reduce the pressure loss to the
value of pressure loss in steel pipes. To utilise the chart...

  1. Identify the flow rate required on the base line (Horizontal Axis).
